Upcoming auction of my work - Chiswick Auctions - 12th December 2024
Tassels swishing and pom poms fluffed to perfection… I am very excited to share that my glorious Ring for Champagne tassel will be auctioned next month as part of Chiswick Auctions Design Modern and Contemporary sale. This sale offers a wide range of home furnishings and works of art, featuring iconic and immediately recognisable ceramics, furniture, sculpture, lighting, glass, pictures, and textiles from the most influential design movements of the late 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
My Ring for Champagne tassel was original made for the Zoffany & Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust Second Life exhibition, an exhibition that showcased the creations made by selected QEST scholars who have transformed the fabric used at the Zoffany x Benedict Foley Entrance Hall at this year’s WOW!House into revelatory new designs.
Handmade using an array of traditional passementerie making techniques including hand spun cords, bullion skirt, ruffs, cartisan and pom poms, my tassel is a celebration of bespoke passementerie craftsmanship. My Ring for Champagne tassel will be auctioned on the 12th December 2024 at Chiswick Auctions.
