I am captivated by the intricate interplay of threads, the energetic dance of colours and the tactile beauty of yarns. Drawing inspiration from historical traditions, I strive to breathe new life into the endangered art of Passementerie. Passementerie is rooted in tradition and I feel that it is my role as a contemporary artist to push the boundaries of how these heritage techniques can be used in an entirely new and innovative manner.
