My hope is that my book will inspire you to delve into the fascinating, yet endangered, world of contemporary passementerie. Inside the book I share my approach to creating handmade passementerie which focuses on my love of colour, materials and craft. I really hope that my book gives you plenty of inspiration and confidence to learn how to make your own passementerie designs at home using your own unique choices of colour, texture and material. There are 11 signature passementerie projects included which will show you how to create your own passementerie at home using easy to find equipment and materials.

Clear and vivid step-by-step photos ensure that project instructions are very easy to follow. This double page spread shows my Chromatic Waves curtain tieback project which is based on traditional, heritage 19th century passementerie designs, reinterpreted in a contemporary and playful manner. The instructions can be easily adapted to create all manner of further designs and end uses. The same design on a longer scale would make a fabulous table runner, or an amazing statement belt!
