Passementerie - the endangered art of handmade tassels, rosettes, braids, and decorative trims - is practised by only a handful of specialists in the UK.
With over a decade of teaching experience, an MA in Textiles from the Royal College of Art, and a published book on the craft, Elizabeth is one of the UK's leading passementerie tutors. A Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust Scholar, she is recognised at the highest level for her contribution to this rare and endangered craft She is known for warmth, precision, and the rare ability to make a complex craft genuinely accessible - without losing its richness or integrity.
Elizabeth teaches passementerie workshops across the UK and internationally, from her own garden studio on the Surrey/Sussex border, and online to students worldwide.
