A gorgeous array of specialist passementerie materials and equipment that we will be using during our passementerie workshops. I have curated selections of beautiful threads, handmade cords, and essential equipment that is required for our three workshops: passementerie weaving, rosette making and tassel making.
Your registration fee includes all necessary materials and equipment for participating in our workshops. The only items that are not included in the registration fee is basic sewing equipment and a small frame loom for weaving (please see ‘what you need to bring’ below).

Your registration fee includes all necessary materials and equipment for participating in our workshops. The only items that are not included in the registration fee is basic sewing equipment and a small frame loom for weaving (please see ‘what you need to bring’ below). Your registration fee includes the following items:
Wooden rosette mould.
Handmade gimp cord in a gorgeous array of colours*
A wide range of 100% wool yarns for weaving*
Assorted cords & braids for weaving*
Fine mercerised yarn for tassel and rosette making*
Handmade tassel board.
Tassel comb.
Wooden tassel mould.
Wool needle.
Wire reel for tassel & rosette making.
Copydex glue.
Linen thread.
Printed booklets containing step-by-step photos & instructions of techniques.
Please note: The materials marked with an asterisk (*) are communal workshop materials. This means that you will be able to select from a wide range of colours, textures & fibers on the day of the workshops. You will receive all other materials & equipment listed above as a kit which is yours to keep & take home.
• If you would like to take home extra workshop materials & equipment you are very welcome to purchase them from me on the day - all credit and debit cards are accepted.

The following items are not included in the registration fee. Please kindly bring these items with you:
Sharp embroidery scissors.
Tape measure.
Notebook, pen & pencil.
One metal dinner fork.
Apron or over shirt (we will be using Copydex glue which will stain fabric).
Frame loom for weaving (please see ‘Frame loom’ section) below.

A frame loom is not included in the registration fee. Please kindly bring a small frame loom with you to use during our passementerie weaving workshop.
A vast array of frame looms is available worldwide, however to make things a little easier I have put together some web links below to show you the ideal frame loom to purchase. Please don’t hesitate to ask me if you have any questions about looms.
When you are looking at looms to purchase, please make sure the dimensions of the loom are roughly 30cm / 11.8” wide x 38cm / 14.9” high.
